How To Use Health Tracking Tools

(You must register to use these tools)

Being overweight or obese can have a negative effect on your blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol. In fact fundamental to the treatment of high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) is getting the individual's weight down to within the normal range as measured by BMI, the Body Mass Index. The Health Tracking section of this Insights For Health website allows you to track each of these measures. If any of these are abnormally high for you, it is likely that they will move closer to normal as you lose weight. This can be another benefit you derive from getting your weight under control.

By using the menu on the left you can enter values for your Blood Pressure, Weight, Glucose (Blood Sugar) and Cholesterol (including other important lipids). Then you can view the values, edit, delete them or download your lab log to bring to your next doctor's appointment.
