MAKING YOUR CHANGES

 

 

 

 

At this stage the plan gets put into action.  New behaviors are used to substitute for the old, unhealthy ones.  When roadblocks occur, those previously planned strategies to overcome them are used.  When new barriers are identified, new solutions are devised and implemented.  The plan for change is a work in progress and gets revised along the way.  This stage usually lasts six months since it takes that long for new behaviors to become habits.
